He’s been described as a warrior poet, who has gained the respect of the greatest songwriters, including Merle Haggard, Billy Joe Shaver, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, David Lynn Jones, and countless others.

On Friday February 2 be sure to check out (Low Key Art’s new executive director) Sonny Kay’s HEADSPACES art show at Stage Eighteen in Fayetteville. A ten year retrospective of Sonny’s surrealistic collage work, the exhibit features large-scale prints as well as a multitude of related artifacts like LP jackets, colored vinyl, and posters, and he’ll be signing copies of his recent HEADSPACES book as well. Hot Springs’ own ALL THE WAY KOREAN will also be on hand to provide breathtaking sonic accompaniment, joined by Fayetteville’s best-kept secret, WHOOPSI.
