OUR MISSION

Low Key Arts connects people and inspires creativity by providing tools, education, and opportunities to experience musical, cinematic, and artistic innovators from around the world.

Low Key Arts was founded in Hot Springs in 2005 by Bill Solleder and Shea Childs for the purpose of producing VOV - the Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival. Since then, Low Key Arts has grown to include the Inception to Projection Filmmaking Program, Arkansas Shorts: A Weekend of Short Film festival, KUHS-LP 102.5 Solar Powered Community Radio, Hot Water Hills Music & Arts Festival, and more. We now have a Board of Directors and nearly 2 decades of experience! Low Key Arts is an Arkansas 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported in large part through the generosity of our community as well as significant contributions from Arkansas Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, Roy & Christine Sturgis Charitable and Educational Trust, and the Gail Pratt Frasier Trust.
