After covid forced the cancelation of VOV in 2020, the festival returned in late 2021 with a highly successful 2-day edition in early October, the first event of its kind at Cedar Glades Park. Taking full advantage of the spacious and magical setting provided by the park, VOV clearly turned a corner last year, attracting larger audiences than ever before, despite the lingering pandemic and, at times, very uncooperative weather. The addition of camping, a “vendor village”, and the outdoor aspect of the festival in general have served to bring a whole new atmosphere to this well-established and highly beloved event.
As SXSW in Austin has returned for 2022, so too has VOV, back in its regularly-scheduled mid-March slot, luring some of the very best underground bands to Hot Springs on their way into or out of Texas. Once again the festival will include vendors, food and refreshments, and abundant outdoor activities for attendees of all ages.
Children aged 12 and under enter free. Tickets are priced from $20 for a daily music pass to $75 for an all weekend 3-day all-inclusive music and camping pass.
